Sun.King’s Power Capacitor won the bid of “500KV flexible DC grid project in Zhangbei”

March 30, 2018  According to the announcement of winning bid issued by State Grid Corporation, Wuxi Sun.King Power Capacitor Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sun.King Power Electronics Group, has won the bid of the "test demonstration project of ±500kv/3000mw renewable energy flexible DC gird project in Zhangbei"-Capacitor-package 1, with a total capacity of 780,000Kilovar.

This is the first time that the complete set of capacitors of Sun.king Group won the bid of flexible DC power grid transmission project. Flexible DC transmission (Flexible HVDC) is the best technology to realize efficient grid connection of new energy and power grid interconnection.
